چکیده
Nanoparticles have as characteristics super sliding, extreme pressure, self-healing, etc., which can improve the friction reduction and anti-wear performance of sliding components, when used lubricating oil additives. Nano-copper particles a good synergistic effect with other antifriction agents, antioxidants grease additives because their low shear strength grain boundary slip effect, showing better anti-friction effect. However, nanoparticles are prone to conglomerate, this causes bottleneck in application dispersant for nano-copper system. The regulation nanosized surface properties has great engineering significance compensating precision manufacturing accuracy. This paper comprehensively reviews tribological research progress lubricant additive, provides reference on tribology.

متن کاملTribology in Reliability Engineering
The tribological understanding of friction and wear mechanisms and the generation of reliable friction and wear data are of increasing importance for the determination of reliability of machinery and availability of plants and transportation systems. To be of real value in reliability engineering, the tribological data should be expressed in terms of endurance life and probability of failure. T...
متن کاملTribology and Nano-Tribology Problems in Data Storage on Hard Disks
In current “state of the art” disk drives, the flying height between slider and disk is on the order of 10 nm. The flying height will need to be reduced to approximately 3 nm to meet future storage density goals. At a spacing of 3 nm, severe tribological problems will occur with respect to friction, wear and lubrication of the head/disk interface. In this paper, tribology and nano-tribology pro...
